Dune has been one of my deepest inspirations and I felt compelled to add my voice to Denis Villeneuve's interpretation of Frank Herbert's masterpiece. Replacing Hans Zimmer's masterful score, I wanted to define my own experience of Dune.

This piece features sound design by Matt Collings, who created the sound design for the epic Sand Worm sequence.

Dr. Ryan Somerville is a composer who creates innovative experiences of music. His immersive orchestral music experiences were awarded a Ph.D. in Music Composition from the University of Edinburgh and he has since had artist-in-residency positions at the Banff Centre and Swatch Art Peace Hotel.
